Peaceful place, I really enjoyed welcoming personnel.

I came to Katunayake for rest - everything was exceptional. The location was stunning because it was really close to Katunayaka, Sri Lanka and airport-2 x 1 night stays. It also was in a stunning tropical two acre garden. Amazing dishes were served at the open-air restaurant.

Close to airport, superior to other airport hotels. Beautiful gardens, pool, rooms, and bathrooms. Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Outstanding food. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Sajith who gave garden tours. Only hotel with attentive management. Exceptional service and personal attention. Beautiful use of natural products in the food.

Excellent restaurant, very attentive staff, very stylish atmosphere

Arriving in Sri Lanka a few days after the recent acts of terrorism, we were initially nervous, but the extraordinary measures taken by the government to ensure safety put us at ease. The staff at The Wallawwa were incredibly accommodating, and our stay exceeded our expectations in every way. The size and design of the rooms were perfect for relaxation, and the gardens were a beautiful sight. The food was outstanding, and we loved exploring the on-site vegetable garden. The shower was also a highlight, and the overall tranquility of our stay was superb.

The hotel was in a secluded location by lush green garden. The staff were more than helpful when needed.

Marvellous location on the market, in the lovely area. Exceptionally comfortable bed, large bathroom and a lounge and tea/coffee in the room.

The location it offers is incredible, not far from the tropical gardens around the property and Colombo international airport. The staff are lovely and good, managed the parking onsite😀

Charming boutique hotel with delightful rooms, gardens, and friendly staff. Great food, relaxing pool, and good spa treatments. Spacious rooms with large bathrooms and beautiful private gardens. Lovely rural area near the airport with shady seating and delicious meals. a wonderful start to our family holiday.

Located within easy reach of the airport, this hotel offers a peaceful oasis surrounded by sprawling tropical gardens. Rooms are beautifully decorated in colonial style and come with spacious bathrooms. Staff provides exceptional service and the restaurant serves superb meals. the hotel offers a spa, games, a jungle pool, and a vegetable garden to explore.

Despite its convenient location, the surrounding area may not be the most picturesque or exciting in terms of landscape.

Our trip was really great, can't wait to go back. The room we booked was beautifully maintained with a huge bathroom, private garden and every comfort complimentary tea. The staff were really accommodating and knew how to help. Location: the hotel was close enough to Sri Lanka after 20 hours of flying, and beautiful gardens. There was an open-air restaurant nearby.

The food was absolutely terrific and the staff, especially Sajith, were super friendly and helpful. The location is GREAT for airport arrivals and departures. The hotel management, led by Menaka, was very present and took care of everything. The rooms and property were beautiful, creating a peaceful garden sanctuary. The pool was lovely and the staff were all attentive. Highly recommended as your first stop in Sri Lanka!

Not obvious to find.

This venue offers a luxurious experience to its guests with exclusive amenities and services. The spa center and outdoor swimming pool are perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The rooms are spacious and come with private facilities, making it perfect for couples. The restaurant serves delicious meals with special diet menus available. The library and garden area create a peaceful ambiance that is perfect for reading or enjoying nature.

One minor issue was the limited sun loungers at the pool. Guests may need to be quick to reserve their spot.
